10 Ways to Use a Fabric Softener Sheet

Have you ever thought about fabric softener sheets? Well here are 10 uses for them besides softening clothes.

  1. Dissolve soap scum from shower doors with a fabric softener sheet.

  2. Put a sheet in your vacuum cleaner.

  3. Use one to prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through a sheet before beginning to sew.

  4. Clean a pan with baked-on food by putting a sheet in it, fill it with water, let it sit overnight, and sponge clean. The anti-static agent apparently weakens the bond between the food and the pan.

  5. Place a sheet at the bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.

  6. It helps repel mosquitoes.

  7. Put a sheet in shoes or sneakers overnight.

  8. Wet a fabric softner sheet, hose down your car, and wipe love bugs off with it.

  9. Put a sheet in your sleeping bag and tent before folding and storing them. It will keep them smelling fresh.

  10. Wipe your TV screen with it to keep dust from resettling.
