1. Rubbing alcohol will remove ball point pen ink marks.


2. Baking soda on a damp cloth will remove grime and grease from glass on your oven door.


3. A cloth wrung out of a solution of 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in one quart of water, will make windows and mirrors sparkle.


4. A bowl of vinegar placed in a stuffy room will absorb odors.


5. Rinse a pan with cold water before heating milk in it to prevent scorching and make cleaning easier.
