Pay Attention to Save Money

One way to save money is to pay attention to your credit card bills and other bills that you have. Not paying close attention to your bills can cost you money. Banks are hurting and doing whatever they can to stay above water. Paying your credit card bill late can cost you a $39 late fee. Be careful with your checking account and stay on top of it. A bounced check can cost you $30 or more.

Go over every statement carefully. Question everything you see. If you see something and don't know for sure what it is, call the company. If you are not in the habit of paying late and forget one month, call and see if they will drop the fee for you. Sometimes they will.

If you are thinking about buying an extended warranty, think twice about it. They are not usually worth it.
